
This Saturday, October 10th marks the opening of the State Street Ballet's 2009-2010 season with a re-creation of the classic children's story, The Jungle Book. The story of Mowgli will be brought to life with music composed by Milan Svoboda of the Czech Republic and choreography from Gary McKensie. The Dance, Music and costumes will come together to tell the exciting journey of Mowgli, his bear friend Baloo and their adventures in the jungle.
Because of it's child-friendly nature, the State Street Ballet's Jungle Book is sure to be a fun and familiar way to introduce children to the performing arts.
